Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary

GeoRank Pilot is an account-based cloud service. It processes the account, connected-site, content, device, purchase, and service-usage data described below to provide SEO and GEO workflows. We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or use this data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Information we collect

We collect the email address used to sign in, an internal user ID, profile settings, notification preferences, and the Shopify or WordPress sites you connect. We also process imported product catalog data, content instructions, article drafts, approvals, publishing settings, publication results, and SEO or GEO proof data needed to provide the service.

Device identifiers and notifications

The mobile app creates a random installation ID and sends it with authentication and API requests. We link it to your account to bind sessions to the installation, prevent token reuse, register or remove the device, and protect the service. This installation ID is not an advertising identifier and is not used for cross-app tracking.

Notifications are optional. If you enable them and the operating system grants permission, we process a Firebase Cloud Messaging token (and the underlying Apple Push Notification service token on iOS), along with platform, app version and build, locale, and time zone, to register the device and deliver the alerts you selected. Stored push tokens are encrypted at rest. If Firebase is not configured, push remains disabled.

Service-usage data

We record generation jobs, article review and publishing actions, connected-site and proof-connection status, notification settings, and workflow status or result summaries. These account-linked records are used to run requested workflows, prevent duplicate actions, diagnose failures, secure the service, and provide customer support. They are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Purchases and payment processing

For native subscriptions, the app sends the selected product, a short-lived purchase context, and the Apple transaction ID or Google Play purchase token to our backend for server-side verification. We process and retain the store provider, product, subscription status, validity and renewal dates, environment, and transaction, order, or hashed provider references needed to grant entitlements, prevent fraud, restore purchases, and support billing questions.

Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or PayPal processes payment details for the purchase route you choose. GeoRank Pilot receives subscription and transaction status but does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Deleting your GeoRank Pilot account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google; cancellation remains available in the relevant store account.

Google user data

With your explicit permission, GeoRank Pilot requests read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. We use this data only to measure search visibility, traffic, and the results of content published for your connected site. We do not request permission to edit your Google properties.

Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except service providers needed to operate GeoRank Pilot or when required by law. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers and data sharing

We disclose data only as needed to operate requested features: Shopify or WordPress for catalog and publishing connections; Google for authorized Search Console and Analytics access; the configured AI provider for draft generation; Apple, Google, Stripe, or PayPal for billing verification; and Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification service for notifications. Infrastructure, email, security, and support providers may also process the minimum data needed to provide their services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Data we do not collect

The mobile app does not request precise location, contacts, photos, microphone access, or an advertising identifier. GeoRank Pilot does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and connected-service data while the account is active and as needed to provide requested workflows. Mobile purchase contexts are valid for 15 minutes; authentication sessions expire or are revoked according to their security lifetime. You may revoke Google access in your Google Account at any time.

You can request account deletion from Settings in the signed-in mobile app. Active connector credentials and sessions are revoked, account-owned operational content is deleted within 30 days, and rolling backups expire within 14 days. Billing, webhook-deduplication, security, and administrator records may be retained for applicable legal, financial, fraud-prevention, or security periods after account identity is pseudonymized.

Children's privacy

GeoRank Pilot is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

International processing

Because GeoRank Pilot and its service providers operate online services, data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We apply the safeguards described in this policy and require providers to process data only for the services they supply.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, encrypted stored connection credentials and push tokens, hashed authentication and provider references where implemented, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
